TechnoLite Ezine, Issue #011. 25 pro music making tips, free downloads
July 23, 2006
Hi

I have been concerned that alot of webmasters are catering their sites for themselves, and do not take into consideration what the surfer actually wants. So I have decided to remedy the situation. I have written a fairly large article directly aimed at you, and only you, the TechnoLite newsletter subscriber. It is completely exclusive.

It contains 20 tips to incorporate and to make hard or chill out music including 7 free downloads. It has tips on making music, making various sounds, getting the best from the best free software at hand, and much more.

To get your mouth watering, I have included 5 tips below. Now these have not been lifted from the article, they are stand alone exclusive tips.

So, be like the Orb, or Leftfield with these Dub tips:

1. Abstract sounds are usually accidentally found, or, the artist knows their kit inside out and they are “abstract” because no-one knows where they came from. This is only due to the main fact that they didn’t dig far enough into their software. Become one with your packages and find out what a huge amount of people are missing.

2. The bass sound is a traditional dub sound and can be found by using any monophonic bass synth with a long release time.

3. The organ is another traditional synth sound, and it can be found on a cool free VST called Nubile: http://www.nubi3.com/download.htm

4. Want some reverb effects? For a low-fi effect turn the Quality/ CPU effect down until the sound starts to disintegrate. Set it to 0% and then adjust the Size for some strange effects.

5. Want some oldy analogue warmth to your music tracks? The best free plugin for that is the Chrissy: http://www.zensoundcheck.com

Cool eh? Want 20 more of them? Well, to do so I have made out a 4 question questionnaire that asks you, what do you want to know from this site. What you would like to see, have help with...or any thing like that.

I want the site be benificial for you.

When you have completed the questions (shouldn't be more than 1 minute max!) then press the button "show me the tips" and you will be transported to the exclusive music making tip list.
